The Pooper Scooper

Dad is our Pooper Scooper around here. Since we don't have Jon around anymore and since we got Dolly there are lots of little doggie"doo doos" all over the grass. Dad did take Jon's advise by putting cotton in his nose as he is scooping. It always helps to add some perfume on the cotton.
Dolly is looking on to see the damage she has created. She is fully house trained and when she needs to go she heads for the back yard. That makes us very happy that she exits through her doggie door to find a place to do her duty outside.
We take her on a walk every morning at 5:30 am
She keeps us moving. She also goes to the shed with dad and rides along as he delivers food.

Visiting Grandma Ogden

We visit Grandma Ogden everyday. She is so happy to see us come. She always gets up out of her chair and gives us a big hug. She is doing good. Aunt Beverly is a great caregiver and she spends a lot of time helping grandma. She is so good to her. She fixes her hair and gives her manicures. She takes her on walks. They go to visit Aunt Dona nearly everyday and two or three times a week, they visit Grandma's other friends. Beverly makes sure her clothes are clean and she fixes her good meals each day. We are so thankful this Thanksgiving for Aunt Beverly and her willingness to care for our wonderful grandmother. She is such a great lady and deserves the best care ever. We love her dearly. They are going to start coming to our ward on Sundays for sacrament meeting. Grandma does much better in the afternoon and our church starts at 1:00 pm.

Grandpa dressed up like a Sysco Marketing Associate. Then later that evening he was dressed like a Bishop. Poor Dolly couldn't even open her eyes in this costume. As you can see it was a little tight and her body was to long for it. It use to be a Cabbage Patch Doll outfit.

We hope you all had fun on Halloween. We love and miss all of you.

A Big Witch and A Little Witch

This is grandma and Rebecca Poulsen. She didn't want to get down after the picture. She was afraid of Dolly. She is such a cute little girl.

Trick or Treating at the Ogdens

This is some of the kids that came to the door on Halloween. Dolly is infront. She loved all the little kids. This is Bishop and Molly Poulsen's children--Jake, Jed, Anna, and Rebecca. They always look so cute every Halloween. We are so glad when th e Poulsens come by. We miss our grandchildren so much and wish that they could come trick or treating at our house . We are so glad that we got to see them on the internet all dressed up in their Halloween costumes.
The good old trusty witch costume. This year I added the 1 inch eyelashes. They were almost as long as Dollys. Dolly liked dressing up like a witch much better. In this picture, she has a witches hat on, but it is hard to see. She liked this costume much better than the bunny costume. She even kept the hat on most of the night as we answered the door to give out treats.

Halloween 2007

It is Halloween and Dolly didn't like dressing up like a bunny. She couldn't stand up very well. She had a very difficult time walking around. When we put her on the floor she just flopped over and laid there.
She had more fun helping us answer the door and jumping up on all the little ghosts and goblins as they came trick or treating.
She would always warn us when someone was coming up the sidewalk to ring the door bell. She would run to the front door and start to growl. Real scary.

This is our new chapel. It is located just around the corner from our home. There will be three wards attending. Dad's bishop office will be in the front right corner as you face the church. The wards attending will be the 2nd ward (Grandma Ogden's ward), the 10th ward and our ward which is the 14th ward. Our first Sunday will be the 11th of November. We are very excited to make the move. Our time schedule will always be 1:30. We will not rotate with the other two wards. You know how those single adults like to sleep in.

The Pumpkin Patch

Today is October 15th. Katie and the kids are here to visit us. We went to "the pumpkin patch" in Elsinore. We rode on a hay wagon out to the patch and each of us got to choose our own pumpkin. Crew and Maddie got to ride on a little train which was pulled by a tractor. They loved it. We took a pumpkin to Great Grandma Ogden. The day was beautiful and we enjoyed the afternoon. Grandpa joined us later.

Happy Birthday Dad

Fun at the Zoo

This is grandma and grandpa watching the Mr. Stand on one leg that you see at the zoo

BYU Victory

We had a wonderful time in New Mexico at the BYU game. We met Jon, Jeanna, and boys in Albuquerque. Our seats were right where the Lobo fans were walking. They were yelling and and shouting at us as they passed by. Before the game started Cosmo, the BYU mascot, came and posed for a picture with us. Dad bought a new camera for his birthday so he took the picture. That's why he is not with us in the picture.

BYU or we stop tithing

Today in Albuquerque---praying for a BYU victory tomarrow. We wonder where in the line of inportance is a prayer for victory. Probably not even on the map. Oh well, we can dream can't we?
